Welcome to the website of pianist Ramon van Engelenhoven. Raised with the sounds of the piano since the age of six, Ramon has embarked on an extraordinary musical journey, culminating in attaining his Master’s degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2019 with the highest honors. His virtuosity and dedication have earned him various awards, including the Grand Prix Youri Egorov, recognition of talent with international potential.

Performing on stages such as the prestigious Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Ramon has secured a permanent place in Dutch musical life. Additionally, he has performed extensively throughout Europe and North America. As a chamber musician, he shares the stage with eminent musicians, including Lucie Horsch and ensembles such as the Alma Quartet and Camerata RCO (members of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra).

With his internationally acclaimed debut album featuring music by Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Ramon not only presents himself as a performing artist but also as an arranger, his transcriptions having been published by Schott Music. His performances extend to television appearances, such as his memorable debut at the Prinsengrachtconcert in 2023 with world-renowned pianist Paul Lewis, and extraordinary collaborations with young composers of new music.
